Children in Kindergarten are eligible to play in the RSC's Mighty Mites Soccer Program. The program is designed specifically for the new soccer player. The purpose of the program is to introduce the children to soccer through skill development and organized games. The program will consist of structured skill/ technique activity and scrimmage games in a fun atmosphere. Participation in this program will help your child build a strong soccer foundation

This is a six week program held on Saturday afternoons. The cost of the program is $35.00 and each child will receive a tee-shirt. Children should wear shin guards and soccer cleats (or sneakers). They should also bring a size 3 ball and water to the sessions.

The program is under the direction of the professional coaches from Pure Soccer who will act as the head coach and will plan all of the skill sessions.

Parent coaches are needed for the individual teams. The coaches will be led each week by the head coach. Before each session, the head coach will go over the plan for the session and demonstrate the skills that will be addressed at that particular session. If you have never coached or played soccer before, this is a good opportunity to learn about the game, how to organize a practice and coach the game. Be sure to "register a coach" when you register your child online.
