Tryouts U14
Last Fall, the Roxbury Storm U14 Girls Travel Soccer team completed a perfect season in flight 2 of the MCYSA and will be playing in the top flight this Spring. In order to better prepare for the challenge the Storm is looking for 1 or 2 dedicated soccer players (any position) who are willing to commit the time and energy necessary to improve their game and help the team. The Storm practices 3 times a week from mid February until the end of the season in June. Games will be played on Sundays in April, May and June.
A tryout will be held on Thursday 2/11 from 7:30 to 9:00 PM at the Indoor Sports Pavilion, 16 W Hanover Ave, Randolph. Applicants should have birthdates between 8/1/95 and 7/31/96 and come to the tryout with the complete ISP waiver form and RSC Try-out form. Both can be found on the RSC website in the "Club Info" section under “Forms”. Anyone interested in participating in this tryout should contact coach Jose Rodriguez at 973-454-2890.

Registration for In-Town (1st-8th grade) and Travel ended on January 31st. Registration for the Mighty Mites (Kindergarden) program will end on April 11th. A $25 late fee will apply to any registration accepted after these dates, and player will be placed on a waitlist. If you are interested in the AA division please register, and waitlist will be created for those interested in joining these teams. If there is enough interest from all the towns in the RVSL to create this division you will be contacted to finalize the registration. All coaches and assistant coaches are strongly encouraged to take the Rutgers S.A.F.E.T.Y. Course Roxbury Recreation Department will host a class on February 22nd 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM at the Senior Center. Registration will begin on 1/19 with the Recreation department More details on the subject of the class here.. |

The Roxbury Soccer Club will be participating with the Roxbury Township Recreation Department and its partnership with National Center for Safety Initiatives which will provide a comprehensive background screening program for coaches and volunteers. Participating in this program is mandatory for all those coaches and assistant coaches associated with the RSC beginning in the Spring 2010 season. Welcome to our new look. In an effort to improve communication around the club and integrate registration, scheduling, coach, player and referee management we are implementing a full Soccer club management system for the Spring 2010 season.
